When he was young, he helped his father with his plastering business. After that, he got a job as a dynamite blaster, where he worked for over 20 years, but various events led to him quitting. In 2011, he happened to visit an atelier recommended by an acquaintance, and somehow he started drawing. Although he said it was his first time drawing, once he started, his bold brushstrokes and use of color made him an instant hit artist. Since then, he would flip through magazines saying, "I want to draw blonde girls," and he has continued to draw his blonde girl series, inspired by brand advertisements. He is 68 years old this year.
